Fiona Patchett grew up in Yorkshire and went to university in London, where she studied history. She has lived in Italy and San Francisco, but now lives in London, where she has written many children’s books, on subjects as diverse as rabbits, fishing, history and baking. She loves cooking and spends hours in the kitchen, testing out variations of fairy cakes.
